The Tioga County Boys and Girls Club (TCBGC) will hold its Annual Thanksgiving Dinner at the Club on Thursday, Nov. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m.
“This is a very popular local holiday event,” stated Christina Bangel, TCBGC Board member and chief cook and bottle washer. She added, “People come from all over the county, and we have a great time together.”
The dinner has been held at the Club for years, and it is highly anticipated by many people in the area. “It is our way of giving back to a community who has always been so good to the Boys and Girls Club,” Bangel added. “We have well over 100 people attend, and no one goes home hungry,” she further exclaimed.
This year the menu will include turkey and all the trimmings. The event is free and open to the public.
