Job Search Workshop planned for young adults

Are you 18 to 24 years old and ready to take the next step in your career? Join the Berkshire Free Library on Nov. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. as they present a workshop to improve your job search skills.

The free workshop is part of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act program and is aimed at helping young people with resumes, job applications and job search tools, and interview skills, among other topics. It is a doorway to a wider employment assistance program, which is presented by Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Tioga County Career Center, in cooperation with GED/TASC prep classes and Tioga Adult Learning Lab’s computer classes with Literacy Volunteers of Broome and Tioga Counties, Inc.

Please sign up by calling the library at (607) 657-4418.  More information about this free program is available at tioga.cce.cornell.edu/youth/wioa-employment-program.
