The Tioga County AARP Tax-Aide program is looking for new volunteers. If you’re interested in making a difference in your community, they’ve got a role for you.
In 2018 they prepared over 900 returns for Tioga County residents. With the help of volunteers, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax-filing help to those who need it most.
They are currently looking for compassionate and friendly individuals to join their team of local volunteers for the upcoming tax season. You’ll receive training and continued support in a welcoming environment.
Learn to prepare taxes and make a difference in your community at the same time. They offer free tax preparation help to anyone, with special attention to older, low-income taxpayers.
