German Festival at Lucas Vineyards in The Finger Lakes

On Sunday, Sept. 15, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., Lucas Vineyards will be hosting their 22nd Annual German Festival. 

Live music provided by The Enzian Bavarian Band and Dancers, Grape Stomping, Horse Drawn Carriage Tours of the Vineyards, Grape Pies, German Food, Animal Encounters, Face Painting, Alphorn and Polka Instructions, Costumes, and fun Contests will highlight this year’s Festival. 

2019 Contests include Best German Chocolate Cake (must pre-register at lucasvineyards.com to participate; all participants will be given complimentary admission to the festival), Grape Pie Eating Contest, and König (King) and Königin (Queen) Costume Contest.

Lucas Vineyards’ Award Winning Rieslings and Iced wines will be featured and available by the glass or bottle. Wine slushies and beer will also be available for purchase. 

This event is fun for the whole family and is held rain or shine (under the tents). There is an $8 cover charge; six and under are free. There is free parking and the event is pet friendly. No coolers are permitted.
