The Walk Among the Dead Evergreen Cemetery Walk is a popular event hosted every fall by the Tioga County Historical Society. During this event, our past comes alive at the Village of Owego’s historic Evergreen Cemetery with actors portraying interesting individuals interred there.
Come and experience their life stories and learn the history of this important cemetery. This year’s walk will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, with tours at 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m., noon, and 1:15 p.m.
You must reserve a spot by calling (607) 687-2460. The cost is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Children 12 and under are free.
