One of the familiar faces that can be seen in one local storefront in Owego is that of Roxie, an older pup. Theresa Lepkowski, owner of Lily Style Loft in Owego, has taken Roxie to work with her each day since she opened on Lake Street, and now at her Front Street Owego location.

Because of her love for animals, Lepkowski has partnered with Animal Care Sanctuary (ACS) for a Fall Fashion Forecasting 2019 and Furry Friend Fundraiser. Lily Style Loft’s Girls Night will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 21 and 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. at her 190 Front St. location.

On both nights, those attending this evening of fashion, fun, and furry friends are welcome to bring a donation from the Wish List provided by Animal Care Sanctuary. Each donor will receive a goodie bag with a special thank you.

Animal Care Sanctuary, located in East Smithfield, Pa., is in the top 10 to 12 percent of all shelters / rescues across the U.S. that has a dedicated veterinary team. The shelter staff continues to expand their knowledge base in animal welfare, shelter medicine, and best practices to continually improve the quality of care for the animals.

With over 500 adoptions already in 2019, at ACS there are hundreds more counting on everyone to help them “live the dream” of a loving home and family of their own.

“Together we can make a difference, one life at a time,” is the quote from ACS and adopted by Lily Style Loft for this event.

If you go, the wish list includes the following.

For the Dogs: Hot dogs; dry dog food or weight management dry food; canned green beans, peas, and carrots; any soft treats; dog biscuits, small; canned dog food; peanut butter; any toys; used blankets, sheets, and comforters.
