The Tioga County Boys & Girls Club is hosting its second annual Hole in One Contest. The fundraiser will run from Aug. 26 thru Aug. 30. Play will take place Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Friday until 5 p.m. with winners being announced after that. The contest will take place at the club in Owego.
The top five prizes include $250 in cash, four passes for 18 holes and a cart at Links at Hiawatha Golf Course, a one year membership at the club, two 18 hole passes at Tomasso’s Country Club, and one 18 hole pass at Ford Hill Country Club.
They have more than five prizes, and there are many chances to win. Each contestant can pay $5 for three golf balls or $10 for seven golf balls, but there is no limit. This event is a fundraiser for the youth programs at the club, to include Junior Golf.
