Galactic Puppet Star-veyors

Families and kids are invited to a free puppet show, Galactic Puppet Star-veyors, on Friday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. in the Berkshire Community Hall, 11 Jewett Hill Rd. and behind the library.

Friendly aliens have come to earth in search of stories to bring back to a planet that has lost its imagination! Susan Klein and her puppet pals need your help in sending a special treasure along to the far away planet: the treasure of stories!

Peter Pan will lead the way as his imagination takes flight! “Second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning!”

The library thanks the East Berkshire and Jenksville Methodist Churches for bringing this “family of friends” to the library.

The puppet show is part of the Berkshire Free Library’s summer program, which continues Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. on July 10 with Yoga Story Time; July 17 features Dinosaur Science: Uncovering Fossils; July 24 is Out of this World STEAM; July 31 is Painting and Crafts; and Aug. 7 will feature Out of this World DJ and Photo Booth. Preschool Story Time will be held Fridays at 9:30 a.m. until Aug. 9.

The library will also have programs at the Richford Summer Youth Program. Call the library at 657-2701 for information on the free lunch program offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
