The special guest is caller Joyce Rossback, from West Virginia.

This is a fundraising event, to keep the 2019 Contradance programs going. Donations will be accepted.

The term contradance is derived from “country dance.” The contradance is related to English country dancing and square dancing. Like square dancing, contradancing is done to a walking step and is easy to learn.

A folk dance, it historically involves people of all ages. The caller teaches each dance during a “walkthrough,” allowing even beginning dancers to feel comfortable.

Beginners and families are welcome. Bring friends, family, or come by yourself.
