“Story” is a local trio specializing in acoustic offerings of tunes telling of lives and times from all musical genres. The group, made up of Gordie Gottlieb, Robert Henrich and Brian Schendel, has been playing around the Tioga and Broome County area for more than five years. Individually, they’ve performed solo and in various groups for an aggregate of well over a hundred years. They have recently appeared at the Farmhouse Brewery, the Black Cat Gallery, Four Seasons Fitness Studio and Farm to Fork events.

There is no admission fee, but donations will be gratefully accepted and will go toward supporting CommonGround’s community activities. Over the past six years, even while flood repairs and renovations were being completed, the center has hosted Summer Food Service Programs, a children’s day camp, Thanksgiving dinner celebrations for elderly singles, Master Gardener children’s gardening programs, American Red Cross and Cornell Cooperative Extension presentations, a vacation bible school and, most recently, a suicide prevention and awareness seminar. The seminar was sponsored by the local chapter of the Veterans of Modern Warfare who, along with Simple Christian Fellowship, call CommonGround home.

All are welcome to join in the fun!
