Don’t miss the fun! Sign up now for the noncompetitive SAP Run/Walk (easy 1-mile on Jewett Hill Road) sponsored by the Northern Tioga Chamber of Commerce, Saturday, March 30, as part of the 3rd annual Berkshire SAPpening. Meet Rowdy, mascot of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, and be entered for a chance to win tickets to a Rumble Ponies game.
The family fun and fitness SAP Run/Walk starts at 9 a.m. Check-in and race day registration is 8 a.m. in the Berkshire Community Hall. Pre-register by March 16 to guarantee a t-shirt!

The events of the day start off with a Pancake Breakfast, with real maple syrup, at the Berkshire Fire Station. Sponsored by the Auxiliary, the breakfast runs from 8 to 11 a.m.
There will also be a craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Berkshire Community Hall with over 20 vendors. Enjoy StoryTime, making Family Crafts, and exploring the Berkshire History Museum at the Berkshire Free Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
See how maple syrup is made with free tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at SweeTrees Maple Products, located at 761 Glen Rd. in Berkshire, only four miles from the Fire Station. (Make sure to dress for the weather if you want to tour the sugarbush in the woods.) Sample fresh made maple syrup and other maple products at the sugarhouse.
