So, those attacking me for saying LED drivers deserve to be blinded by my REGULAR highbeams, clearly are LED drivers, and simply ignored the fact that THEY…. YOU are blinding EVERYONE on the road! I am simply returning the favor by turning my normal high beams on to temporarily blind you. If it is so illegal, then explain why, when I did the SAME thing to a police car, he didn’t turn around and pull me over. Why? Oh yeah, he knows those lights blind everyone, and understood he deserved it. In fact, I am thinking about getting mirrored tint for my rear window to shine your own lights back at you (mirrored tint on rear window is perfectly legal). Plain and simple, those LED lights should be illegal, why are they legal, but dull accent lights under your car pointing at the ground illegal? Just sayin.

Has this happened to you people out there? You call somebody, you leave a message on his or her answering machine asking him or her to get back to you with an answer and they don’t call you back. What is wrong with people? They are inconsiderate! You call someone and ask them something important to do with their business and they don’t call you back. What’s wrong?

Attention: If you have found a phone at Chuckie Cheese on Thursday, the end of January, can you please respond to this column? The screen was broken but the phone holds so much information from Broome Community College. I’m devastated that I misplaced it; I believe I pulled it out of my pocket playing one of the games with my children and left it. I traced my steps and I have done everything imaginable.

Most boring and least watched Superbowl is now in the books. Just the people’s reaction to Tom Brady and the Patriots. We just don’t care about football anymore.

Please explain; I don’t understand how your cats are being killed. Aren’t they safe and warm in your home? Or do you allow them to roam aimlessly throughout the Nichols area and create havoc? If you love your cat as you say you do, protect them and keep them indoors. Not everyone loves cats; they are very destructive. Take care of your animals; you are to blame if they are being hurt.

I read Mr. Tornatore’s letter to the editor last week with great interest. He’s the Newark Valley mayor. He addresses many issues that are active in the village. However, he does not ever address the issue many of us have asked him. Why is the village office open full time with a full time clerk? Given the village has fewer than 1,000 residents this seems to be quite extravagant. The Town of Union has 60,000 residents with a full time clerk and assistants. So things are really out of proportion in Newark Valley given our taxes were raised over 20 percent last year and who knows what the raise will be this year. It seems only reasonable for the residents of the village to get an explanation when other villages and towns have half time office hours, not full time.

I just hope and pray that this message is read by or gets to some STAC officials of section four. It seems to me there are a lot of inequities across the board where one school can practice when there are snow days and early dismissals and other schools can’t. Some schools can bring an athlete in and put them on the roster the same year, other schools cannot. Please, somebody, I know there are people in the Owego / Apalachin school district that are a part of the section 4 committee. Please take a look at this; this needs to be straightened out. It’s a matter of misinterpretation; I hope that’s all it is. I would thank you if you could reply back or just take action.

I think it is time to put an end to these pilot programs, payment in lieu of taxes, where they are used to entice businesses to come to the Southern Tier and Tioga County. All they do is give them a tax break while pushing the tax burden onto the local citizenry who is already overburdened.

Has anyone seen that school closing commercial on channel 12; it shows a young boy walking the halls in a school that’s been closed for winter weather? Now I ask you, what parent would drop their child off at school and not make sure that they got in, just leave them when obviously there is no activity, no cars in the parking lot, school looks dark. What parent would just drop their child off? And if the child walked, what parent would not check for a school closing if the weather was questionable?

I live on Dean Street in Owego and I have bird feeders and found a small dead deer. I called the village, it’s on a village road, I called DOT and it’s not on a state road, and no one will help me. I need a hunter with a truck who would get the deer and take it to Barton. The village says it has to be on the road and it isn’t. My number is 687-5620.

On completion tell us how your wisdom is superior.  The gospel of the Democrat Socialists, Karl Marx, Kamala Harris, Sanders, Pocahontas, Occasional-Cortex, etc. is “Hate the man who is better off than you are.” – Henry Hazlitt. The reason Libs want to flood America with uneducated, illiterate, and non-English speaking illegals is to suppress wages, keep Americans on welfare, and ensure their future voter base. While the Fed was shut down, 18,000,000 illegals received welfare payments. Fed employees and the homeless did not receive anything. Nancy, go figure you’re the protector of the little people, right?

The Democrat ghouls like Governor Cuomo in New York and former pediatrician, get that, pediatrician, Governor Northam in Virginia endorsed late term abortions up to and including after delivery, and that’s from Northam’s own testimony. Let’s look at Democrat morals. Late term abortions are moral but border walls are not moral. These pro-abortion advocates are pure evil and advocate infanticide and must be absolutely repudiated. Democrats should hide their heads in shame!

The more I read this column the more convinced I become that you liberal Democrats are all crazy. One incoherent rant after another. You really aren’t doing your cause any good. Oh yea, I hope you are really proud of yourselves for voting Cuomo.

This is for all the Democrats who are against Trump. I think you better, if you don’t like Trump, leave the country. Get the hell out; you don’t have a brain in your head!

Democrats use shame, guilt, and grievance to impose their vial philosophy on the country. They are embedded by the fake news media and ill-informed and subservient groups looking for handout crumbs from their elite leaders. Their entire belief system is not rational. It is racist, prejudicial and anti social. The Democrats and the Communist party are now one and the same in political philosophy. Independent Howard Schultz is too sane to run as a Democrat and will probably bow out after receiving threats from the radical Democrats. Trump’s policies have greatly helped the middle class and minorities, but the Democrats and the fake news media will never give credit to the best president in decades.

How sad that Cuomo and the New York legislature are encouraging women to murder their babies. You don’t even need to have a doctor present to partake in the evil deed. Of course if something goes wrong the woman and the baby may die. I guess the life of the mother or baby is not important in the eyes of the law.

Why didn’t Trump start his crazy idea about the wall two years ago when he got elected? It probably took him that long to realize Mexico will not pay for his stupid wall. It’s sad that so many people fell for his lies, but I didn’t.

Isn’t it called homicide if the attending person or mother purposely withholds liquids from a newborn?

I hate when these local municipalities take my tax money and hand it to welfare rats and then put mud on the road in the winter time so when you drive 10 feet when you go to work your car is all covered with crap.

Seventeen percent in our national debt in over one year since under Trump! That’s just counting the debt during the first year! So where is the outrage, Republican Conservatives? Do the math. We’re bankrupt in our country with your so-called pay for itself tax cut. It is a joke! Six percent of the businesses haven’t hired a single person after they got this massive tax cut. All it’s doing is bankrupting our country. The rich are getting richer.

TO THE SEEKER OF FACTUAL PROOF that global warming can produce cold weather. FACT: warm air rises, large volumes of air warmed by the Pacific Ocean rise to the troposphere and migrate to the North Pole region and sink as cold high pressure. Been doing that for a long, long time but as the volume increases from the warming ocean it can force the polar vortex further south over us. Why doesn’t Jim Cantore tell us this? It’s a trade secret that makes the weather channel crew look super good at weather forecasting.

People, you can’t put the liar back in the White House for another term! A liar is dangerous. By the way Trump, where are your taxes? Not done yet?

These lower temps that we have been experiencing are nothing but a late January thaw. We have it every year. I still see no fact in climate change or global warming.

I agree with last week’s caller that Gillibrand will not last in the presidential race. However, it will give us New Yorkers a break from her for a small time. Get her out of New York!

A few months ago our great President Trump turned down a meeting with the Communist dictator Maduro of Venezuela. Now Trump leads a vast coalition of European and South American countries opposing Maduro. Perhaps the Marxist Democrats like Ocasio Cortez and Bernie Sanders, Russia and China and their ilk are the only ones crying crocodile tears over Maduro’s soon to be demise.

A great State of the Union speech last night by President Trump. I could have listened to him for hours. Thank you Mr. Trump; 2020 for you!

A truly magnificent State of the Union speech by President Trump. He extended his hand of cooperation to the Democrats. Now watch Nancy and Chuck try to cut it off. Hope I am wrong, but just wait and see what actually happens.

Okay, so the news just told me Trump’s daughter is going to get $50 million, yes $50 million dollars to start this thing of women to voice their opinions to get ahead in politics for her father. Now where do you suppose that money is coming from? Check your pockets, we are being had by that damn seven-year-old in the White House.

So the Democrats say the Republicans are all racist, they throw everybody into that category. Well now, where are they with this Virginia scandal? They’ve got three top people that have been called on it and you don’t hear a word out of the Democrats. They have such double standards it’s unbelievable!

My Friends, Andrew Cuomo, under the guise of protecting women’s rights, has signed a deceitful abortion law for the State of New York. This law is not about protecting women; it is far more sinister and self-centered than that. Sadly, this has been done before, in the “little town of Bethlehem”. King Herod wanted to defend his throne after he discovered there was a new “King” in town. Under the delusion of power and for the sole purpose of self-preservation, he issued an order for the murder of all male children who were two years and under. Please read Matthew 2 for further insight. I would then ask you to answer for yourself a question from Jesus, ”FOR WHAT PROFIT IS IT TO A MAN IF HE GAINS THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSES HIS OWN SOUL?” (Matthew 16:26 NKJV)
