The annual tradition of musicians helping shelter animals continues on Nov. 10 when organizer John Delola presents the annual Shelter Slam event at Endwell Greens in Endwell. 

The event, which has grown in popularity, and supports various rescue organizations, kicks off at 1 p.m. and will feature close to 20 bands on two different stages. The doors open at noon.

Admission to the event is $15, with the proceeds benefiting several rescue organizations to include Pibbles and More, the Binghamton Humane Society, Willows Wings, S.P.E.A.K., Every Dogs Dream, and more. You can also donate an equivalent amount of pet food in lieu of the admission fee.

Bands slated to perform include national acts Battery, Kore Rozzick and Hellings, and local bands Tourniquet, Drama Scream, Recycled Zombies, Threat Point, Kickstart, Ashley Lux, Broken Arrow, Titan, O.C.D., Wreckless Marci, and more!

The event will be held rain or shine, and is open to all ages. There will be vendors, raffles, food and prizes.

Proceeds will benefit Stray Haven in Waverly, the Animal Care Sanctuary in East Smithfield, Animal Care Council and A.M.P.A., among others. 

Endwell Greens is located on Sally Piper Road in Endwell, N.Y.
