Ross Corners Christian Academy appoints new Administrator

The Ross Corners Christian Academy Board of Directors has named Jennifer Chase as the School Administrator Designate. Chase will succeed Toby Wyse as the School Administrator after his retirement at the end of the 2017-2018 school year. 

Chase brings over two decades of ministry and educational leadership, and a contagious enthusiasm and authentic passion for Christian worldview education. According to a release received from Ross Corners Christian Academy, Chase carries the skills necessary for helping to fuel the academy’s growth and ministry.

 Chase currently serves as the Director of the Braided Cord Cooperative, which provides educational opportunities and community for nearly 40 home school families in the Greater Binghamton, N.Y. region. 

Chase has taught as an adjunct professor at Davis College in Johnson City, N.Y., and she currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Davis College. She previously worked as a professional counselor for the Christian Counseling Center in Johnson City, N.Y. and served as the Executive Director of the Pregnancy Crisis Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Chase has traveled nationally to speak at Christian home education conventions, women’s conferences, marriage retreats, fundraising banquets, Christian colleges and churches. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Kansas State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work and Non-Profit Administration from the University of Kansas.   

Chase and her husband, David Chase, have been married for nearly 25 years and live in Apalachin, N.Y. with their four daughters, ages seven to 17. The Chase family worships and serves at Grace Point Church in Vestal, N.Y.

Since 1960, Ross Corners Christian Academy, located at 2101 Owego Rd. in Vestal, N.Y., has offered a Christ-centered education for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.
