Owego man pleads guilty to drug charges

On June 22, 2015, Joseph M. Farrow, age 33 of the Village of Owego, plead guilty in Tioga County Court to two counts of Attempted Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Class C Felonies, in connection with his attempted sale of heroin to another person on Sept. 14, 2014, and again on April 28, 2015.

As a result Joseph M. Farrow will receive five years in state prison, according to the District Attorney’s office, and two years post-release supervision on each conviction, which will run consecutive to each other for a total of ten years in state prison.

The case was investigated by the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office.

Joseph M. Farrow remains in the Tioga County Jail awaiting sentencing, which is scheduled for Aug. 17, 2015.
