Southern Tier Harley-Davidson raises thousands for local children

Southern Tier Harley-Davidson announced that their 2014 Christmas For Kids ride on Sunday, Aug. 24 raised approximately $6,000 for Toys for Tots to benefit local children.

Harley enthusiasts gathered at Southern Tier Harley-Davidson that morning and left the dealership at 11 a.m. enroute to Tioga Downs in Nichols, N.Y. The ride was $25 per person and included a $5 food voucher and $5 of free game play at Tioga Downs.

Full proceeds from the ride are going to Toys for Tots, a group that provides gifts to less fortunate children during the holiday season.

“The community has long supported us and it’s our pleasure and honor to do the same for those helping so many needy children in our area,” commented Larry Brooks, partner at Southern Tier Harley-Davidson.
